Easy Courses at Pittsburgh's Robert Morris University

Any college you go to there are easy and hard courses, as well as professors. Many times the professor is what is the easy or hard. The easy courses help take stress off the student, but sometimes the course can be a little too easy. Sometimes the easy courses can help relieve stress, but they also do not have as much value as the other courses. With any college Robert Morris University has its easy course and it's over easy courses. Some of the easy courses are major specific, while others can be taken by anyone who wants to. Robert Morris University is located in the small town of Moon Township, in Western Pennsylvania.

In the English department, any course taken with Professor Jim Vincent is an easy course. He does not need to learn much from his students. He teaches courses like Study of Language, Seminar in Yeats and Joyce, and Irish Literature. He takes in consider each person's background and works with it. His courses are also partially online, so you have assignments to do online at your leisure. Seminar in Yeats and Joyce focuses on the two writers, and you spend the same period just discussing what you think. The poem or story is trying to say.

Study of Language takes you to various countries and one of the assignments he gives is a map you need to simply color in. The hardest assignment for this class is doing an interview on someone whose native language is not English. The hard part of it is finding someone to do the report on, but once you find that person it's easy. The course Irish Literature is a little self explanatory; you read and discuss Irish literature.

Another easy course is in the Communications Department. It's called Instinctual Media Design. You spend the semester learning how to use various media to teach others. You work with power point, Lego's, written words, and the spoken word. While trying to get your point across using the different media you learn more about it then you did going into the course. Many of the assignments allow you to put your own twist on things and gives you the chance to think outside of the box. Many times you work with a group, and other times you work alone, and you have several weeks to work on each of the products.

The Hospitality Management major has its easy courses as well. One of them is Executive Management. You spent the semester looking at different businesses and discussing the problems they had starting up. The final project is to design a business all your own. It gives you the chance to think about how you would run a certain establishment and makes you think about all you learned that semester in and out of class. Depending on the professor you take, Humanities is an easy course. It's one of the general courses that everyone needs to take. Professor Silbert's course makes you think about everything you learn. One project, the journal, has you include anything you want from drawing, to photography to portray who you are. You learn things from religion to philosophy and their importance to the work force and life. The final project is a group project on anything you want it to be on. The material is intriguing, and the book that is used has so much information in it.

There are plenty of courses that are easy to take. Sometimes the easy courses out weight the hard ones. To find the courses you either have to know someone who has taken it or had the professor who teaches it before. What makes a course easy is many times the professor who teaches it. They can either make it fun and exciting or hard and excruciating
